This was my first butcher block top. So I wanted to just put beeswax on it and had my wife pick out the color for the legs. As soon as i brought it in she said “that is ugly” she then felt bad right away and started backing up. It was to late the kids and I make her feel guilty about it when we can so the name stuck. To make things worse I sold this item without her knowing so she has tried to act mad that I did not let her keep it because she likes it so much.
